All pieces flowed nicely, one to the next, as a novel completely – though appreciation grew through multiple, and the opening acknowledgement would likely have derailed interest without promising enticement of impending additions, early on: Outside of an opening tease, the early chapters are largely landscaping that come to feel more important, as more is read, with consideration of where the path is leading. The work is easy reading and well-written, very well-paced and engaging.

At the crux, little of cataclysmic event has occurred to that point, beyond agreement to possibly participate in a well-guarded, secretive matter – isolated in a tedious, restrictive environ in preparation for that potentiality. Rather novelly, there is a passage of consideration on the plot of many stories – noting they often entail great strife to overcome, or to attain, or, fighting for a life. Thus far, the presentation of ideas and conjecture drive the narrative: The offer’s intrigue; narrator’s early curiosity and bemusement eroding to infiltrating unease, and beginnings toward inclination to succeed for reasons beyond that taken at the outset. As the fifth concludes, the principal reflects somberly on the human condition.

The geniality of the writing makes this story a pleasure to read and allows a delicate suspense to slowly build -- as, too, interest in the continuation of the story.

Interesting opening and theme. I'm interested to see where the author is going with the story.
Interesting concept -- just hope there are "stop" points breaking to a new story line -- rather than a single continuous string like a SAT movie serial!
If you are looking for an entertaining read, this is a great one. The first chapter in this serialized novel is interesting and fun, and it raises a lot of questions about what is to come. I would have been extremely frustrated if I had read it and then needed to wait a long time for chapter 2 to be released!
Very good so far. It kept me reading and I'm just glad he's released Episode 2 already so I don't have to experience the waiting!

In a very short amount of time, the author is able to convey a great level of suspense and intrigue. The reader is instantly drawn in, and is asking questions and is making theories. It's very entertaining so far.
When a young man who is down on his luck receives an email offering him a mysterious job for an ungodly amount of money, he is suspicious, intrigued, and finally responds in the affirmative telling the unknown host of his interest. Meetings follow becoming ever more mysterious.

After reading two episodes, I found I was not invested in the story and definitely did not like the small bites of material presented as "Episodes."
If 3 or 4 episodes had been bundled into one book, I probably would have liked it. Just not enough material in one Episode.

All I have are questions. Who is this guy? What is this organization? Why so many secrets?

The questions extend to real life as well. Episode 1? How many episodes will there be? Is this like a written version of a TV show? If it is, and they do seasons, will the final season promise to answer everything but only leave me with more questions?
